HEALING CRUSADE TESTIMONIES

MARCH 24 - 31, 2002

Wow! What a week! Our week of meetings with Brother Hamilton was awesome. From the Sunday morning Service on March 24 to Easter Sunday March 31 in the evening service God showed up again and again. Each night God took us to a different place. As we went from night to night the Holy Spirit kept laying layer upon layer of faith for our people. We had been in prayer for a month or more for these meetings and many had fasted and prayed the week prior to the meetings.

All of my Elders were drunk in the Spirit on Tuesday night and one of my Elders experience the touch of God in a special way for the first time through laughter and the electrifying presence of God. Brother Hamilton's desire to pray for all that came impressed me. We often ask God to pour out in revival, but we really don't understand the price of time and ministry it takes when God comes. Most meetings went until midnight to one or two in the morning. It seemed the longer people stayed the more they got touched. God seemed to reward their persistence in staying long to get prayer. It also appeared that those who contended for their healing by coming back again and again for prayer were truly set free by the last night of the meetings. People were saved, delivered and healed. We are thoroughly excited about the impartation of healing left on the last night by the "laying on of hands" and anticipate God continuing to touch people through healing, signs and wonders.

The teaching on giving was wonderful and the people responded with great joy to give. It seems a spirit of poverty was broken off of our congregation and people are now excited to give. They have been faithful in the past but now there is a great excitement to sow seeds. The offerings for Brother Hamilton were the largest we've ever taken in a week's time and I thought our offerings were good before. Praise the Lord! On Easter Sunday we decided to give our regular tithes and offering to a ministry in our community that is opening "Healing Rooms." We believe as we sow seed into them for healing that healing will flow in our congregation as a healing center for our community. More Lord!

Thank you Hamilton for your ministry and faithfulness to God and His people! We love You!

I had hepatitis C, rheumatoid arthritis, lupus, stomach problems, cancer cells in my kidneys, hemangeoma tumor on my liver, chronic fatigue, and chronic pain. I couldn't get up for days on end. I contracted hepatitis in 1979, and started suffering the pain and fatigue about three years ago. I had so much pain I could barely walk, and had absolutely no energy. I forced myself to come to Rivers of Life for the healing revival Good Friday, March 29, 2002. Hamilton Filmalter ministered me to and he laid his hands on me with the power of the Holy Spirit and I was healed! I came with full faith in Jesus Christ that I would be healed and I was. While at the healing service, all pain and fatigue left my body. That night I went to bed and slept all night, (which I haven't been able to do in years because of severe pain) and woke up in the morning with no pain. I was full of energy all daylong. I came back to the healing services on Saturday night, I love it, I feel it and I am in awe. God bless you all! I want to continue to attend Rivers of Life. My life has been saved. I have had blood test, liver biopsies, CT scans, X-rays, Interferon shots, plus I take 9 different medicines a day. I didn't take any of the pills on Saturday March 30 or Easter Sunday March 31. I will have one last blood test to testify. Praise you Lord!

What was wrong? I have had a chronic cough. I couldn't take a deep breath without coughing for 4 years. During the service God simply opened my airway and I could breathe deeply with no coughing. This happened on Thursday night. Saturday I began having a slight cough and rebuked it and it went away.
My left hip and lower back had pain constantly. I have been going to the chiropractor for years because of this and had to be careful when twisting or moving my left leg. It would kink out and pain me. I was prayed for and it was discovered my left leg was shorter. Suddenly as I was ministered to my leg began to stretch and grew longer. Since then my hip and back are completely pain free, My neck pained me quite often and grinding and crunching of neck occurred constantly. I received prayer and it has stopped grinding and crunching and the pain is gone. Hamilton told me to laugh but I haven't laughed for over 4 years. I stopped laughing because every time I would laugh I would have a coughing fit. I then had prayer and Pastor Jay told me I was binding myself by my words and that the problem would stay if didn't change my confession. I began telling myself I could laugh. That night and all the next day I would break out in times of laughter. Praise the Lord!

Bobbie Hampton
My son had recently gone to help a contractor friend sail a boat from Florida to California. I was filled with fear and panic as I received reports of the trip and my son being seasick, he got a severely infected sunburned and they were encountering storms. I would go to God for peace but I had fear and panic come upon me all the time. When Hamilton came I was feeling I should have been able to grasp God's words of comfort to me and hold onto them. Not keep slipping back into fear. Tuesday night Hamilton preached on faith and unbelief. It was late but I told my neighbor, "I'm going up. I need this." When Hamilton came to me he put his hands over my ears and my hearing aids began to squeal. Hamilton joyfully said, "you have hearing aids. Take them out." I took them out and he said to turn them off. When I take them out and they are together they squeal but I can not hear them squeal. He gave my hearing aids to Pastor Jay. Hamilton then prayed for my ears. He put his fingers in my ears and when he took them out he asked me if I needed the hearing aids anymore. I said maybe. I didn't have much faith yet. But when my hearing aids were handed back to me I heard them squealing as I put the batteries back in. But still no faith. The next morning when I went to answer the phones at my store I notice a difference. My phones have a volume setting for hearing impaired people and when I picked up the phone what would be normal for me was blasting and I had to turn the volume way down. I was healed! All my phones were on the highest volume and now they are turned down to low. I got the hearing aids ten years ago because my husband would complain about the volume shaking the walls. I went to the TV and my ears were fine. I didn't need the hearing aids. In fact I haven't had them back in since Tuesday night. And I've had found other areas I had learned to live with have changed, like background noise kept me from hearing voices well with my hearing aids and now I can hear voices fine. Praise the Lord! Why did God choose to heal me with my lack of faith? I went up for faith and all I know is God is wonderful! He is gracious and good to me.

I woke up to a vision about a showerhead stuffed or getting stuffed with small pebbles. Then He showed me a few shovels of pebbles on a truck bed. God was telling me to get up and get moving. The plans that I have had He wants to bless and expand on. God has opened up my well and is speaking to me!

1) I have had a backache for about one and one-half years. I cannot remember the last time I slept without waking up many times during the night. I was prayed for on Tuesday (March 26) and the only time I woke up during the night was out of habit and wondering when it's going to start.
2) My husband does not go to Bible study with me during the week. (He really does not have much to do with Bible study at all.) He is quick to anger when anything is mentioned of the Lord. I prayed real hard one day and had faith like Hamilton said. My husband came on Thursday (March 28). He refused to come back, however, I believe this is a start.

The easing of my pain from fibromyalgia abdominal pain eased; and, I can take a deep breath without pain. Shoulder and hip pain is also easing. Praise God because He is not finished with me yet.

The pain in my heart from recent broken relationships is gone. I am free from all my past. I have been praying for my dad to come all week and he is here tonight. I have gotten prayer for my vision a few times. My right eye is getting a little better. It is just not all the way healed yet. It will happen, though. Soon. God is doing great things in my family. By the evening of Sunday, March 31, my eyes were tracking much better than they have ever been before.

One night Hamilton came out to me when I was waiting for my wife and daughter out in the truck. Hamilton led me in the sinner's prayer and now Jesus is in my heart. Hamilton prayed for my sicknesses. I had a spot on my lung. I went to the doctor this week and that spot is gone. There is a chance that I may have hepatitis C but I believe that God is healing me from it.

There were some things bothering me and I just felt icky. I was prayed for by Hamilton and he broke things off me and I feel better. PRAISE THE LORD!

I hurt my back at work and at times it even hurt to breath deeply. Sunday evening (March 24) I laid hands on my back and prayed for it to be healed. I went up front to testify of my healing and it was discovered that one of my legs was shorter than the other. God touched me through Hamilton's prayer and both my legs are the same length now!

Praise the Lord I am no longer "Mr. Starchy" and instead feel like "Mr. Springs of Living Waters!" God touched me through laughing in the spirit (four nights straight!) and I know I have been given fresh oil and a new anointing in my spirit man. Never before have I "snickered" through someone's sermon - let alone on the front row! I feel refreshed and energized like never before.

Beginning Sunday evening (March 24) I put my hands on my wrists to heal them of recurring carpal tunnel. I did not really feel anything, however, during the next few days my hands did not bother me as much as they normally have in the past. I did not pray for my eyes (far sightedness and astigmatism) but when I put my glasses on everything was too magnified and I was dizzy. Wednesday (March 27) I went forward to give testimony of these changes and Hamilton also prayed for other ailments I had - carpal tunnel, left hip that was hurting at night so that I could not sleep through the night, right ankle that never healed properly, digestive problems and endometriosis. I felt a heat throughout my body and believe I have been healed of those things. The heat stayed with me until we left church that evening. I believe that the heat melted away the cholesterol in my blood and restored all my lipids to the correct levels. Wednesday night I slept through the night with no pain in my hip and my right ankle was no longer swollen or discolored. It looked just like my left ankle. Wednesday I also prayed for healing for my lymph glands around my throat and ears. (When I do not get enough sleep my throat and ears hurt.) Thursday (March 28) I noticed I was not experiencing any discomfort in my throat or ears and believe me, this week I have not been getting enough sleep. Friday (March 29) I testified regarding my lymph glands being healed and when Hamilton prayed for me I was hot throughout my whole body. From Friday evening until Sunday (March 31) about 1:30am, my shoulders and / or shoulder blades were varying degrees between warm and hot. At times, it felt like a match was being held up to my skin. It was great to feel the Lord's presence in that fashion. Friday night God reminded me that I needed to pray for my jaw condition (TMJ) to be healed and it was. I can now open my jaw quite far without it popping or cracking! It is so exciting to be healed from my shopping list of items (most of which I have had since my teens or early 20's)!

Sheryl Davis
This morning I had been having a muscle spasm in my back (a recurring thing). As Hamilton had me sit in a chair and raise my legs they were three-fourths of an inch uneven. As he said, "There it is," there it was. I am not sure what exactly happened physically, but now my pant legs are even and they have been uneven forever. Now they are even and the spasm is gone. I will claim this very cool healing!

I had back problems, back spasms, neck problems, left hip pain and knees hurting. On Sunday morning (March 24) Hamilton prayed for me. One leg was one inch shorter than the other one and the shorter one grew. I have had no spasms the whole week and the pain in my left hip has eased.

Danny Hamm
My right leg was half an inch shorter than my left. This was the result of a car crash three years ago. Hamilton made Jesus come in and grow that leg to the correct length on the spot. Praise the Lord!

I had ringing in one ear and the doctor said he could not help me. Hamilton touched me and I am healed. I also had pain in my knee. Hamilton touched me and the pain is going. Praise the Lord. Thank you, Jesus.

I have been going through a tough time. I have been going through things I could not let go. I was prayed for and it is gone. I am not holding on to it and I am not as afraid of man as I was.

Joanne Hess
I had knee surgery in December 2001. It did not work and I have limped since August 2001. Monday (March 25) Hamilton prayed for my knee and the terrible pain I had when I walked, stood or even sat down, went away. I can walk without limping or experiencing the really bad pain I had.

Charlene Hughes
I had prayer for my artificial leg (or stump) to receive my leg. I was born with a birth defect. I was missing my fibula, growth plate and had my hip out of place. I have worn a prosthesis since I was five years old. I got prayer for my leg to grow out which has grown or straightened out approximately two inches. My hip is now uncomfortable because of the extra length. The knee of my stump seems to be the area where I feel the change the most. The knee has been fused sort of bent and it has now straightened a bit. Thank you, Jesus! I need a foot, a bone, the knee to bend, the femur lengthened and for it to grow out all the way!

I have a broken heart from a divorce again. I was prayed over. Jesus whispered, "Forgive." I feel forgiven and believe this is the answer to healing my heart. I praise the Lord for this week filled with laughter and love! I feel a call to local missionary work.

I had prayer for my left elbow. I am a wallpaper hanger (22 years). Three months ago I did a full day of raking all the pine needles on our large lot up in Groveland. I really messed up my elbow. I had pain and nerve damage that was not healing and was really hurting in my work. I had prayer on Tuesday (March 26) and have had no pain in my elbow the rest of my workweek. Thank you, Jesus.

I was in two car accidents and messed up my back and hip. I got prayed for and God pushed by hip back in place! My wrist had arthritis and was healed! God healed my broken heart, also. I love the Lord, Amen.

Since I came back from ministering in Africa, I came down with a staff infection. Since November 2001, off and on I have come down with boils on my face (four total, very painful). As I received prayer, I felt my heart pound and I felt waves of energy flow through me. I am healed.

When Hamilton started to pray to Jesus for healing this morning (Sunday, March 24) he did not call out any of the items / areas that I needed healing. I asked God to heal the areas that I needed which were the lower back, my eyes and my womb. After I asked and Hamilton prayed more, I felt a hot streak go up from the swell of my back up to my right shoulder and heat / cold all over. The feeling in my right side has not left (since 1:00pm and now it is 7:45pm) and the feeling / sensation is still there. I know that the Holy Spirit has stayed with me in the form that I can feel it. I will let you know when my son is born, my sight is 20/20 and my back is better. I have more faith. I know Jesus is with me. Praise you, Jesus. Thank you, Hamilton, for your obedience as a servant of God.

I have been having problems with my hands and knees for about two years. When the weather was cold my knees would hurt and crackle. My hands would fall asleep and I would drop things. They are not hurting or falling asleep. I doubted that people would listen at work about God's working. My customers have been receptive. My coworkers have been receptive. They have asked questions about my reading material. God has been breaking down my unbelief concerning the salvation of people I come into contact with. When I was prayed for at the meeting, I specifically felt apprehension, doubt and fear being lifted off.

My wrist would always hurt when doing push-ups or sometimes when playing guitar. Also, my lower back often would get stiff and the sciatic nerve would get pinched. Intestines also gave me problems due to previous operations. During praise and worship when Hamilton told us to lay hands on part of body we wanted healed, I laid hands on my eyes. I have not noticed any difference (yet) in my eyes, but checked rest of my body because I felt heat throughout body. I noticed my wrist, back and intestines were healed / better.

I came to meeting Sunday evening (March 24) using a cane. I have not needed it since. Arthroscopy surgery that did not heal caused much pain and immobility. I am walking very well. Arthritis pain has been greatly eliminated. I am thankful that the sermon last night on "Deaf and Dumb Spirit" has taught me how to pray for that problem of hearing and seeing. I have purchased videos and cassette tapes and plan to share them with my pastor in Fremont, CA. Revival is beginning at Fremont First Assembly. I appreciate this ministry and especially the spirit of pastor Hamilton. This is the last night I will get to be here and prayed for continuing healing. Hope to hear you in Fremont in 2002.

1) I have had severe pain in my right hip and lower back. My left leg was short and when it was lengthened there was a jolt in the left thigh. When I stood up the pain was gone in the left hip and lower back. Praise the Lord.
2) I have no side vision at night. After prayer, I noticed driving home in the dark the right eye is better. There is more vision to the right side.

I had poor digestion and reflux after every meal. During the meeting I felt tingling all through my stomach and intestines. Today after lunch and dinner I am fine.

I have been struggling with asthma (sometimes severe at times). Since being prayed for I have only experienced two times this past week when I used any asthma spray, etc. To be honest, those were the only two times I didn't pray and rebuke the asthma to be gone in my lungs. I feel I am completely healed!

1) I have had dull pain in my lower right back for at least four years. It has been feeling better during the meetings and I believe for a complete healing.
2) I received emotional healing when I was laughing in the Spirit this week.

I came here tonight for the first time full of shame and guilt from my past sins. I had a car accident in 1998 and never went to a doctor. Since then I have had pain in my neck and hip. My head had been hurting and during prayer I put my hand on my head and lower back and it relieved the pain. I felt tingles all over. Hamilton prayed for me up front and my neck, head and eyes were healed. Thank you for working in my life. Through God all is possible.

I am an immediate candidate for total knee replacements. I have suffered from osteoarthritis for about fifteen years. Since my healing experience, I can walk without listing from side-to-side and the burning sensation in my knees went away. I still have some knee pain and I pray for additional healing.

Ray Word
I have had diabetes for about 25 years. I have been on insulin for about 15 years. I also have neuropathy in my feet and legs. My feet and legs burn all the time. After last night's healing service, the burning is less intense. I have drop foot which causes me to wear a brace because my foot drags. I took off my brace and could walk without it. I went home not wearing the brace. My faith is stronger.

Wednesday before the meetings I bent over and it felt like a knife went into my lower back. I went to the doctor and by Sunday March 24 it was only 30% better. Sunday night laughter hit me and I laughed for 1 ½ hours. I was the last to leave the building. When I left at midnight my back was healed. Praise the Lord! It all started when Hamilton said, "get the lemons out and laugh" as he taught on the joy of the Lord. Then the Lord gave me a song. (The lemons go marching two by two, they're gone, they're gone!) Thank you Lord! I was blessed to spend time with your son!

Other instances of healing (no testimonies turned in)
1) Man with leukemia was experiencing stomach problems - his distended stomach was healed
2) Several people with back problems had their shorter leg lengthened and backaches were healed
3) Some people had continual severe pain or illness and after receiving prayer and healing did not need their medications anymore.
4) A man with depression and ADD was prayed for and the next day he was happier and had clarity of mind that he not experienced in a long time.
