Jan. 27 - Feb. 1, 2002

"Hamilton Filmalter, a healing evangelist from South Africa, is currently holding healing meetings at Calvary Christian Center in Fortuna, California. The people are enthusiastic over the salvations that are taking place and many have been healed.

One of the exciting prospects of the meetings is that the evangelist encourages the church to take the healing anointing to the streets and to believe God for people to be healed and saved because they have personally felt the power of God in their own lives. The evangelist has also assured us that God wants to leave a deposit of this anointing in the church. We have already experienced, to some degree, what God can do through those who will yield themselves to His will and we are anticipating the greater blessing of what will come as this wonderful anointing is carried to our cities and communities.

Our services began with Hamilton Filmalter on Sunday morning, January 27, 2002 and will continue through this Friday evening, February 1st. The following healings have occured:

1) I felt the Spirit of the Lord all over me and within minutes I was on the floor laughing uncontrollably. I was also drunk in the Spirit.

2) We were told to come forward if we felt any manifestation of healing in our bodies. I felt heat on my back and went forward. The evangelist prayed for my leg to grow out and it did. I have had back and neck pain since 1993. The evangelist also prayed for my asthma problem and it seemed better. I felt a lot better while leading worship Sunday night. I felt like I had more power & Strength while singing. I have had asthma for at least 17 years. I have been on five different daily medications in order to control my asthma. - Susan Natt

3) God healed a chronic cough from a bronchial infection. The cough would not leave, however, it is gone now.

4) I was dealing with frustration and God healed me by renewing my joy and trust in Him. I have a nasal and throat congestion. God healed my nose and I believe will heal my throat completely. I have been experiencing chills and heat back and forth. I have also been experiencing jerks and laughter. Praise and glory be to the Lord God Almighty. - Chandra Willis

5) In the morning service God touched me and I know that what he did will be important to me for a long time.

6) When I asked God for healing for my weight problem I felt a heat so hot on my head I thought my hand was burning When I was prayed for by Hamilton Filmalter I truly felt God speaking to me and healing me. I know this is a process, but God is faithful.. He has healed me of my obesity.

7) Tonight the Lord gave back hope to my broken heart. I've come to love Him and He has delivered me from drugs. It is now time for me to totally give my heart to Him.

8) I have been struggling with finally facing the end and admitting what happened in the death of my boy friend when I was 15 heard old (16 years ago). I have also suffered from severe suicidal depression. I believe the Lord has healed me. He has given me His peace. I desperately need forgiveness from God and needed to forgive myself and I have been delivered. Praise God!

9) Hamilton Filmalter was our guest speaker in the morning service of CCC. He has the gifts of healings and signs and wonders. He asked for people who needed healings in their bodies to come forward to the alter to have prayer. He asked the people to put their hands on the parts of their bodies that needed healing. I didn't go forward, but I stood with others and I placed one hand on my left knee and on other on my left shoulder to be healed of arthritis.

My left knee became very warm as he prayed and the pain left. I couldn't feel any pain after he prayed. My leg felt warm most of the day. I usually sleep with a pillow under my knee because of the pain, however, I didn't need the pillow when I went to bed. As of now, January 28th in the evening, my knees still do not hurt, and my shoulder doesn't hurt much. Praise the Lord! - Ruth Wilson

10) My upper back muscles were tense and hard as a rock and I was in constant pain. After prayer on Sunday night, the 27th, I had no pain.

11) My tooth has been hurting lately and on the way to this meeting it started hurting more than ever. When Hamilton told us to put our hands on that part of our body that needed healing, I put one hand on my heart and the other on my mouth. I felt very hot and had chills and my mouth got very hot and the tooth that kills me felt like oil dripping. I could even taste it. When he prayed it didn't totally stop hurting but it does not hurt like it did. Now it is a dim pain. God has also been healing my heart for the last six months and it is been wonderful. It hurt more on the way to this meeting but I think God wanted us use that to strengthen my faith. I've never felt anything like this before. 12) I was healed of upper back and neck pain which also gave me headaches. This was caused from vertebra that was out of alignment and muscles that were tense and knotted up. My neck is loose and the pain is all gone. - CRW

13) The Lord healed my throat, voice and lungs that were damaged by chemical exposure. I felt oil being poured over me. I was also healed of fibroid tumors that I've had for 16 years. When Hamilton prayed I felt depression leave and joy return. Praise God!

14) Sunday even the 27th I asked for healing for my body because I have a rare sickness called "sarcoidosis". Because I don't suffer any pain with this disease I can't tell if I am healed when prayed for. But I feel like God wants me to go off my medication and He will heal me. I am praying about that.

Monday night, the 28th, I asked for prayer about my weight. When Hamilton prayed my face began to feel like it was on fire and my body felt rubbery and does even now. I believe God wants to heal me. - Donna Cooper

15) God told me that He would heal me tonight (1/29/02) and that I would not need medicine after tonight My shorter leg grew and my pain is gone. Praise the Lord! - Debbie Frazier

TESTIMONIES OF THOSE HEALED THROUGH THE PRAYERS OF HAMILTON FILMALTER WHILE AT CALVARY CHRISTIAN CENTER, FORTUNA, CA.

I had three herniated discs and a blood disease. One foot was an inch shorter than the other. When Hamilton Filmalter prayed I watched the short leg grow to the length of the other one. I felt pain in my lower back when that happened. However, when he prayed for my back I felt heat throughout the area and the pain instantly left. I have had arthritis in my hips for many years. I had been taking four Ibuprofen four times a day for several months. I was prayed for on 1/29/02 by Hamilton Filmalter and have been feeling much better since. For the past two days I only took a total of four Ibuprofen. Diagnosed with Cancer I went to the service wanting to die. I had determined that it took more courage to live than to die. Hamilton Filmalter discerned a spirit of death upon me and commanded my deliverance. In that process a very intense grief came upon me but I was delivered by the Lord. Since that time there is a joy in my heart. I want to live now! Hamilton also told me I have healing in my hands and I prayed for people who were touched dramatically in the service that night. Since my late teens I have had a 20% spinal curvature. When Hamilton prayed I was healed. When I see my surgeon I will ask for another spinal x-ray so that I can share the results with the doctor and our church. - Anna Hopkins, Fortuna, CA.

I had problems with finances. Hamilton prayed for me on Wednesday night, 1/30/02. Thursday, after work a friend informed me that I had received a new job offer that I was almost certain to get. Both of my knees were sore and when Hamilton prayed for me the shorter one grew even with the other one. My elbow was bothering me but through prayer it was healed. - Jared Willey

I had been having pain in my back for some time, especially while standing. During the Hamilton Filmalter healing meetings at Calvary Christian Center in Fortuna he taught people how to pray for the sick. My friend, Stephanie Rogers had me sit in a chair and she discovered that my right leg was an inch shorter than my left. I had a problem with depression for two years. To get rid of the pain I would cut myself. Hamilton prayed for me and asked me what made me punish myself that way. I told him that it was the way my parents lived in our home and the atmosphere they set. He helped me to forgive them because I had been tortured. He led me in a prayer of forgiveness and prayed over me and helped me stop hating myself. I began to laugh and fell on the floor. Now, a day later I feel peaceful and I am not sad. I was in the meeting at Calvary Christian Center where Hamilton Filmalter was praying for the sick. Since he prayed for me I have been set free from drug addiction, homelessness, fear, lust and anger (rage). He also prayed over me that I would be delivered from epilepsy. I am believing God that I will not have any more seizures and that I am healed.
