TESTIMONIES
We have just finished a fantastic week with
evangelist Hamilton Filmalter . After plowing and contending for an increase in
the healing anointing since July of last year, our troops were getting
physically weary. We have continued to enjoy the presence of God, healing and
salvations week in and out. We have had 93 meetings including Sunday mornings
since January 3rd. The reason we have continued is not based upon the size of
crowds, but God's word to us to go through the end of May in this fashion. We
have seen over 240 first time decisions for Christ and countless healings. But
God is asking us to give our very lives as Jesus did to reach the lost, heal the
sick, and deliver the demonized. It is easy to say yes to Jesus
in an emotionally charged moment. But when it feels like plowing you are really
tested. Hamilton was just what Doctor Jesus
ordered for us and those who came from near and far. The first night was an
outpouring of joy in the Holy Spirit. The
second night we began to see the healings which continued Saturday and Sunday
nights. There was one man who responded to a word of knowledge about pain in the
right hip and leg who had all the pain leave. Words of knowledge continued
Saturday with a woman responding to nerve problems that cause severe pain as
well as numbness and weakness. Regina from the San Francisco area said she had
battled pain and suffering in her nervous system and body for many years due to
car accidents and multiple surgeries. She was mightily touched and rested in God
for more than an hour two nights in a row in the meetings. She reports her pain
greatly diminished and new mobility. She was also thrilled at the touch of God
upon her life.
Hamilton's words to us as a church were a tremendous encouragement as
well. He spoke of how he saw that what we are contending for is bigger than
anything we could imagine. He spoke of the healing well that is being re dug
here and encouraged us not to give up. He said, " when you dig a well you
often hit bed rock. You are right at that place. Keep digging and punch through
the rock. Under it you will find a huge aquifer of water. You have been getting
the water of healing to draw out, but there is a HUGE supply under the rock.
Don't stop digging. Don't stop contending. You are not contending for
yourselves, but for the body of Christ. God wants this huge supply to go out all
over the world." He continued to exhort those present to keep valuing what
God is pouring out in Albany, that it is very special. We
have been very refreshed by what God brought to us through Hamilton's ministry. Under His Wings,
